Amir Seger

VP Security R&D at Guardio

Amir Seger has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Amir is currently working as the VP Security R&D at Guardio since 2022. Prior to their current role, they founded Identifai Genetics in 2020 and served as the Chief Technology Officer until 2021. At Identifai Genetics, they played a key role in leading engineering and product development, focusing on prenatal testing. Before founding Identifai Genetics, they were the Chief Technology Officer at ShizimVS from 2020 to 2021.

Amir has also held various positions at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel. Amir served as the Head of R&D Group from 2016 to 2020, Software Team Manager from 2013 to 2016, and Software Engineer from 2010 to 2013. Before joining the Office of the Prime Minister, they worked as a Software Design Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2006 to 2010.

Amir began their career in the Israeli Air Force, where they held the rank of Major from 1997 to 2005.

Amir Seger attended Tel Aviv University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2010, they furthered their education at Tel Aviv University - Coller School of Management, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management of Technology and Information Systems in 2012. Currently, they are studying at The Open University of Israel, pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioinformatics, which they started in 2020.
