Sam Cross has a diverse work experience in the food service industry. They started their career as an Executive Chef in 2012 and later held various roles including Campus Executive Chef, Director of Operations, and General Manager at Sodexo. In 2021, they joined Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services as a Sr. Director of Dining Services. Currently, Sam is employed at ISS Guckenheimer as the Area Manager - Director of Food Excellence and will soon transition to the role of Food - Innovation and Commercial Enablement Director in 2024.
Sam Cross holds an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from The Culinary Institute of America, which was completed from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, Sam obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, completed from 2001 to 2002.
