Ruth Yanay, CPA

Ruth Yanay, CPA has a wealth of experience in accounting and finance. Ruth began their career in 2013 as a Project Manager at HFT Group LLC, where they managed a project team, edited educational books before publication, and researched documents to verify text authenticity. In 2014, they joined Galitzer & Associates as an Accountant, where they prepared financial projections and performed external audits for Israeli customers, prepared tax returns for multinational jurisdictions (Israel & USA), and responded to IRS & Social Security inquiries on behalf of clients. In 2019, they moved to EY as a Senior Tax Associate - International Tax, where they advised individuals on utilizing differences in regulation and taxation through meetings before deployment or before return to their home country, processed and analyzed a global workforce’s payroll data, and conducted client segmentation while considering regulatory differences in taxation and benefits. Most recently, in 2022, they became Lead Domain Specialist - Accounting & Finance at Guesty, where they work closely with customers, product managers, customer success managers, knowledge team, and other internal stakeholders while replying to non-trivial customer Wix tickets and workflows and investigating issues via Jira. Ruth is also responsible for analyzing customer pain points in the accounting and financial domain, finding workarounds, and suggesting actionable long-term solutions. In addition, they provide accounting and finance insights, representing customer solutions, in ongoing efforts and new products daily and during reoccurring product management meetings.

Ruth Yanay, CPA, completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Lev Academic Center between 2009 and 2013. Ruth then returned to Lev Academic Center between 2017 and 2018 to complete a Preparation for Israeli CPA Exams program in Accounting.
