Alma Ohene-Opare, MBA

Alma Ohene-Opare, MBA has over twelve years of work experience in the technology and business intelligence industries. In 2006, they began their career as a Research Assistant - Exchange Server Administrator at Brigham Young University. Alma then moved on to become a Web Designer at BYU Independent Study in 2008. In the same year, they were also a QA/Test Intern at Novell. In 2009, they joined Microsoft as a Program Manager. In 2010, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Galactic Networks. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Software Implementation Engineer at SIRE Technologies, followed by a Senior Technical Consultant at Hyland Software. From 2015 to 2021, they were a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer and Senior Business Intelligence Consultant at Domo, Inc. Alma then moved on to become a Senior Data Engineer at Praxis Metrics in 2021 and is currently a Senior Technical Solutions Manager and Senior Business Intelligence Engineer at GUIDEcx.

Alma Ohene-Opare, MBA has a diverse educational background. Alma obtained their Senior Secondary School Certificate in General Science from Adisadel College between 1998 and 2000. Alma then attended Ashesi University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2002. From 2005 to 2009, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Brigham Young University. In 2013, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Information Technology from Western Governors University, which they completed in 2016. Most recently, they obtained a certification from UC Berkeley Executive Education in November 2021 through the Black Venture Institute Fall 2021.
