Brett Blowers

Brett Blowers has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Brett started their career as a Lottery Terminal Instructor at Scientific Games in 2002. Later, they worked as an Internet Support Representative at Mediacom Communications from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, Brett joined IFMC as a Software Technician - Help Desk Support. Brett then moved to Farm Bureau Financial Services in 2007, where they worked as a Desktop Support Technician for a few months. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at SOURCECORP Statement Solutions as a Network and Systems Administrator, responsible for maintaining and supporting the company's computer systems. In 2011, Brett joined GuideOne Insurance as an Enterprise Systems Engineer IV. Brett later took on the role of Senior Data Security Analyst, where they analyzed and recommended security controls and procedures for information systems. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Information Security at GuideOne Insurance.

Brett Blowers completed an Information Technology Network Administrator degree in Computer Sciences at Des Moines Area Community College from 2003 to 2005. Brett also obtained additional certifications, including GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) and GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), from GIAC Certifications.
