MeLisa Collisi has a diverse professional background spanning over two decades. MeLisa currently serves as the Small Business Owner of Blue Ridge Timber Designs, specializing in handcrafted wooden furniture and smaller items. Prior to this, MeLisa held various roles in the information security field. MeLisa worked at NorthWinds Technology Solutions as Director of Security and Risk, where they played a pivotal role in building insurance technology platforms. MeLisa also served as the Information Security Officer at Delta Dental of Virginia, overseeing the development and execution of the company's information security strategic plan. MeLisa's experience in the industry extends to their time at Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) and Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union, where they held roles as an Information Security Analyst and Information Systems Technician, respectively. In addition, MeLisa gained valuable expertise in the travel industry by working as a Corporate/Leisure Travel Consultant at various organizations such as Cape Fear Travel, Travel Network, and Bryan World Tours.
