Janèe Powell

Janèe Powell is currently working as a Learning Pod Tutor & Proctor at Guidepost Montessori since September 2020. Previously, Janèe worked as a Teacher Assistant at University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and as a Tutor and Specials Teacher at STBU Student Enrichment Program. With experience in education and health promotions, Janèe has also worked as a Math and Reading Tutor at Kumon Math and Reading Center of Chicago. Furthermore, Janèe has had experience in leasing and production roles at various companies such as TLC Management Co. and Harpo Productions. Janèe's educational background includes a BA in Marketing from Hampton University, a 200-hour Certification in Yoga Teacher Training/Yoga Therapy from YogaSkills School of Kemetic Yoga, and a Diploma in College Prep from Kenwood.
