Maureen Kitheka

Maureen Kitheka has over 10 years of experience in the finance and accounting industry. Maureen began their career in 2009 as an Invoicing Accountant with BCD Travel (Head Office). In 2011, they joined BCD Travel (UN Branch Office) as an Accountant and Assistant Credit Controller. In 2018, they moved to Fqureshi Consulting Limited as a Financial Management Consultant, where they were responsible for maintaining accounting books and financial processes for a portfolio of approximately 12 small and medium organizations in both non-profit and profit sectors. In 2021, Maureen joined Guidewheel as a Global Finance Operations Manager and Operations Manager.

Maureen Kitheka completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting and Finance from Strathmore University in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a CPA Certificate from Strathmore University in Accounting and Related Services in 2009. Maureen also attended Muthale Girls' High School from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, they have obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from kasneb.
