Alexey Dubynin

Alexey Dubynin has extensive experience in the finance and audit field. Alexey is currently serving as the Finance Director at Guinea Alumina Corporation SA, a subsidiary of Emirates Global Aluminium. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at PETROPAVLOVSK PLC from 2018 to 2020. During their tenure at PETROPAVLOVSK, they also held the position of Group Financial Controller from 2013 to 2018 and Head of Internal Audit from 2012 to 2013. Before joining PETROPAVLOVSK, Alexey worked as the Head of Internal Audit and Risk Management Department at GeoProMining in 2011. Alexey also served as the Deputy CFO and Head of Corporate Reporting at Kamchatka Gold, RENOVA Group from 2009 to 2011, and as the Head of Planning and Budgeting Unit from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Internal Audit and Control at LLC Effective Energy from 2007 to 2008. Alexey's career began at UC Rusal in 2001, where they worked as a Project Leader from 2003 to 2007 and as a Manager for IFRS and MA reporting from 2001 to 2003.

Alexey Dubynin completed their education at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) MFA Russia MGIMO. Alexey earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in International Relations from 1994 to 1998. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Arts with Honors in Economics from 1998 to 2000. Alexey also holds a certification as an ACCA Fellow Member, which was obtained from the ACCA in February 2012.
