Taylor Gilmore

Executive Director, Procurement And Auxiliary Services at Gulf Coast State College

Taylor Gilmore has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a Fitness Consultant at the Troy Parks and Recreation Department. In 2016, they worked as a Bank Teller at Regions Bank before joining the City of Panama City Beach Government as a Seasonal Recreation Coordinator and later as a Recreation Coordinator. At the same time, they also worked as an Independent Contractor. In 2018, Taylor became an Adjunct Instructor and Mentor/Assistant Instructor at Florida State University, and also served as a Recreation Specialist at the City of Lynn Haven. They continued their involvement with Florida State University as a Mentor/Teacher Assistant in 2023. In 2020, they started their own business called PinkXplosion, a personalization retail shop. In 2021, Taylor joined Gulf Coast State College in various roles including Student Activities Coordinator, Activity Director for Guided Pathways to Success, and most recently, as the Executive Director of Procurement and Auxiliary Services. They also started a consulting and events business called Gilmore Consulting and Events in 2022. Additionally, Taylor worked as an Online Associate Faculty Adjunct at The University of Arizona Global Campus from 2022 to 2023.

Taylor Gilmore completed a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Fitness Management from Troy University between 2012 and 2014. Subsequently, Taylor pursued a Master's degree in Sport and Fitness Management with a concentration in Coaching from the same institution, which was completed from 2015 to 2016. Currently, Taylor is undertaking a Ph.D. program in Sport Management at Troy University, expected to be completed in 2023.
