Emily Johnson

Emily Johnson has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 20 years. Their most recent position was as the Vice President of Development at Gulph Creek Hotels, a role they started in 2023. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, they worked as the Director of Sales - East Coast at Relocity, Inc., where they were responsible for expanding the client base, launching a SaaS platform, and optimizing sales processes.

From 2016 to 2021, Emily held multiple roles at AVE by Korman Communities, including Senior Director, Business Development and Business Development Manager. In these positions, they focused on increasing occupancy and revenue for luxury furnished suite programs and established new corporate partners.

Before that, from 2012 to 2016, Emily worked as the Global Director of Sales at Coyle Hospitality Group, selling customer experience technology solutions internationally. From 2009 to 2012, they served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at The Constitution Inn, where they implemented comprehensive rebranding and saw a significant increase in revenue.

Emily's earlier experiences include roles such as Business Transient Sales Manager at The Charles Hotel, Sales Manager at Marriott The Residence Inn, and Front Office Manager at The Breakers. Emily also held various positions at Penn State Hospitality Services, focusing on quality assurance.

Emily began their career with a Front Desk Operations Internship at Walt Disney World, where they received a guest service excellence award.

Emily Johnson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from Penn State University. Emily also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Management from Hotel Institute Montreux. Emily further pursued their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from ENEB - Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a certification in Business Development: Strategic Planning from LinkedIn in 2021.
