Yvonne Liu

Yvonne Liu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Yvonne is currently working for KYC Hospitality as the VP Technology Concierge, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as the Director of Launch Services from an unspecified time in 2021 until May 2022.

Before joining KYC Hospitality, Yvonne worked at Hilton from January 2018 to October 2020, where they served as the Complex Senior Events and Catering Sales Manager.

From January 2015 to December 2017, Yvonne worked at The St. Regis San Francisco, where they held the position of Account Director, Group. During their time there, they managed key accounts within the finance/banking/venture capital, accounting, consulting, and insurance sectors and received recognition as the "Group Salesperson of the Year North America" in 2015.

Prior to their role at The St. Regis San Francisco, Yvonne worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. from July 2011 to December 2014. Yvonne held the position of Account Director, Finance/Banking and Luxury Accounts, where they led the strategic account management of finance/banking/venture capital/consulting and other corporate verticals for four properties in downtown San Francisco.

From August 2008 to July 2011, Yvonne worked at The Westin St. Francis San Francisco on Union Square as the Convention Sales Manager. In this role, they oversaw conference clients from various industries and received recognition as the recipient of Starwood's "TeamHot of the Year Award" in 2010.

Yvonne's career in the hospitality industry began at InterContinental San Francisco, where they worked as a Catering Sales Manager from December 2007 to August 2008. Yvonne played a crucial role in the pre-opening team of the hotel and was responsible for planning and executing numerous events.

Yvonne'searlier experiences include working at The Westin St. Francis San Francisco on Union Square, where they held various roles from June 2004 to July 2007. Yvonne started as an Executive Meeting Specialist and later became a Catering Sales Manager. In these roles, they managed and executed a high volume of corporate meetings, fundraisers, and weddings.

Yvonne's first job in the industry was at Ebix (formerly E-Z Data) as a Marketing Events Manager from January 2003 to May 2004. In this role, they coordinated company-wide events, including trade shows, sales team meetings, employee appreciation events, and an annual client event.

Yvonne Liu obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies from Scripps College. In December 2020, they also obtained a certification in Digital Event Strategist from PCMA.
