Eric King

Eric King is an accomplished leader in sustainable innovation with extensive experience in both corporate and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Sustainable Innovation at Nike since March 2016, Eric has been instrumental in developing and executing a science-based innovation agenda to advance Nike's sustainability goals. As a co-founder of Gun by Gun, Eric focuses on crowdfunding gun buyback programs to enhance community safety and address gun violence in America. Prior experience includes working as an Innovation Specialist at USAID, where Eric leveraged technology and partnerships to combat global poverty and health crises. Eric's academic background features a PhD in Geophysics and Space Physics from UCLA and a BS in Mathematical Physics from Binghamton University, complemented by research roles at UC Berkeley.
