Attila J. Kovacs

Attila J. Kovacs, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Research Scientist at Gundersen Health System since December 2022. Prior to this role, Attila worked as a Biostatistician at Gundersen Medical Foundation from July 2019 to December 2022 and held an academic position as Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse between August 2012 and July 2019. Earlier in Attila's career, a postdoctoral position was completed at Florida Atlantic University in the Center for Complex Systems and Brain Sciences from January 2010 to March 2012. Attila's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Motor Neuroscience from Texas A&M University (2005-2010), a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Wayne State University (2003-2005), and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov (1996-1999).
