Stephane Degenne

Mr. Degenne has been with Gunvor since 2007, when he joined as head of crude oil for Europe and Asia. Before becoming global head of crude oil in 2018, he served as Commercial Director for Structured trade, overseeing business development efforts and coordination between geographic areas and trading desks across the Group. In 2022, he became Global Head of Origination & Structured Trade / Co-head of Trading. Mr. Degenne began his career at ELF Trading in 1994 as a crude oil trader, after which he served in similar roles at Total Trading SA and Addax Trading. He holds degrees in engineering from L’Institut Francais du Pétrole and L’École Centrale.
