Kiran Aswath

Kiran Aswath has over two decades of work experience in various engineering leadership roles. Starting in 1997 at Tata Infotech as a Sr. Developer, they later joined MindTree, where they served as an Offshore Engineering Manager for Elance and successfully led the development of modules for Services Procurement Management. Kiran also worked as an Offshore Development Manager for eBay, setting up the offshore center and managing a team of over 120 engineers. As a Program Director for SITA, Kiran led a team of over 100 engineers in redeveloping Airline Passenger services products using SOA architecture.

In 2009, Kiran joined Intuit, where they held several roles such as Senior Development Manager, Group Development Manager, and Leader for Ingestion and Data Platform. In these roles, they conceptualized and built an event-based ingestion platform, migrated all of the ingestion processes to the public cloud, and revamped the experience of Sales, Care & Business Operations agents across various segments. Kiran also played a crucial role in internationalizing and launching QuickBooks Online in multiple countries.

Most recently, Kiran joined Gupshup in 2021 as the Senior Director of Engineering. Overall, they have extensive experience in leading large engineering teams, driving complex migration programs, and delivering innovative solutions in various domains.

Kiran Aswath's education history includes a Diploma in Advanced Computing from CDAC in 1997. This was followed by a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication from the University of Mysore, which was obtained from 1992 to 1996.
