David Torres Sanchez

David Torres Sanchez has been working in the field of optimization since 2022, when they began their role as an Optimization Engineer at Gurobi Optimization. Prior to that, they were a Senior Research Associate at Lancaster University from 2021, and a Research Scientist at SINTEF Digital from 2019.

David Torres Sanchez began their educational journey in 2012 when they earned a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Essex. In 2015, they continued their studies at Lancaster University, earning an MRes in Statistics and Operational Research. David then returned to Lancaster University and completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Operations Research in 2019.
