Nic Mason

Nic joined Guru Systems in January 2018. He has a passion for improving the sustainability of the urban spaces where they live. In 2016, founded imby (In My Back Yard), a gardening app that helps people bring nature back into their cities.

Prior to imby, Nic was Chief Operating Officer of energy management start-up, Energy Deck, having joined from CBRE, where he was a Senior Energy and Sustainability Consultant providing carbon and energy services to corporates such as Sainsbury’s and Nomura Bank. Nic has also worked as the Energy, Carbon, and Sustainable Procurement Manager at Westminster City Council.

He takes pride in Guru’s work which uses data effectively to develop more efficient services, reduce costs and improve people’s lives.
