Ishmael King

Ishmael King is a skilled software engineer with experience in payroll systems at Gusto since July 2019. Prior to this role, Ishmael was a synthesis intern at AMD, where responsibilities included floor planning, synthesis, timing closure, and enhancements to the ASIC design flow. Ishmael co-founded King of 20 LLC, developing and marketing an educational game while also securing a U.S. trademark. In addition, internships at STEMconnector and the National Atomic Testing Museum involved project planning, research, writing, and historical documentation. Ishmael's early experience includes roles focused on customer service and technology integration in various organizations. Ishmael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto.
