Jennifer Stern

Jennifer Stern is a Senior Design Systems Engineer at Gusto, bringing extensive experience in web development and design systems from previous roles at companies such as FireHydrant, Vercel, Etsy, HashiCorp, Otus, Instructure, Orbitz Worldwide, Encyclopaedia Britannica, and Evanston Northwestern Healthcare. Jennifer has led initiatives focused on transitioning legacy systems to modern frameworks, improving accessibility strategies, and enhancing developer tooling. With a strong background in creating design systems, managing front-end development, and mentoring teams, Jennifer has consistently contributed to feature development and improved UI/UX across various projects. Jennifer holds a BA in Studio Art and Computer Science from Beloit College.
