Susan Thomas contributes to Gutenberg’s strategy and works closely with the leadership across all service lines as well as the Sales and Marketing Team and consults clients such as Hitachi Vantara, Hitachi Energy and Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI).

Susan started her career with Elets Technomedia a media agency that provides a platform for B2B communications in the form of a news website, monthly magazine and trade events in India and the Asia region. After which she worked in the social development sector in progressively responsible communications roles.

She has over 15 years of experience delivering strategic communications for international non-profits, specializing in PR, branding, visibility, event management, print & digital communications, and content writing & marketing.

Working with reputed international organizations such as ActionAid and Digital Green with globally networked teams, she was responsible for marketing and communication of multi-million-dollar development projects in India and the Asia region. More recently she has been providing content services to start-ups and small businesses helping them craft messages that position them uniquely in their industry/segment.

With a keen awareness of the socio-economic development landscape and curiosity around how culture impacts social behaviors coupled with a passion for creating accessible communication for a diverse range of audiences (including individual and institutional donors, policymakers, influencers, beneficiaries) she has extensive experience in strategically deploying the right blend of ideas, tools, and communication channels to target specific audiences.

Susan completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s in English from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. Based in New Delhi, she is fluent in English, Hindi, and Malayalam.
