Oana Harabagiu

Oana Harabagiu currently serves as a State Advisor for the Government of Romania, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Oana was the Head of Public Policy for Mastercard in Romania and Croatia from March 2023 to July 2023, engaging with policymakers to foster an inclusive digital economy. Previous experience includes serving as the Director of Cabinet to the State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance from May 2022 to March 2023, and various analytical roles at BlackRock, including Multi Asset Investments Analyst and Financial Markets Advisory. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Politics, and History from University College London and a BSc in Management from Warwick Business School, alongside earlier studies in Further Mathematics, Mathematics, and Computer Science. Oana gained recognition by reaching the Regional Finals of the Hult Prize, where a project was developed to promote labor inclusion in refugee camps.
