Andy Wheeler

Andy Wheeler is a general partner at GV. Andy was previously the CTO at Adura Technologies, Inc., responsible for technology roadmap and engineering organization at commercial energy management firm. Products include wireless mesh-network based lighting control system and hosted enterprise energy management platform. Andy was also the principal at AJW Consulting, an independent technology consultant specializing in wireless and smart grid technologies. Client projects have included smart energy patent work, product strategy for residential smart energy firm, system architecture and development review for large-scale wireless sensor network firm, and technology roadmap and strategy for wireless lighting control firm. Andy has also served on the board of advisors for Metascopic and Ecofactor. Andy's previous positions include CTO at Tendril Networks and Ember Corporation, and technology consultant at Zipcar.

Andy Wheeler attended Unionville High School and Fairport High School before completing a Bachelor of Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Andy then went on to complete a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from MIT.
