Gary Ambrosino is the current CEO at GVL, and was previously with Engageware from February 2010 to May 2020. Gary led the company through triple digit growth from venture-backed early stage market entry all the way through acquisition by a leading private equity firm. Part of their success came from developing the initial product strategy and refining the product-to-market match.
Gary was recognized as the category creator for online appointment scheduling that achieved over 1 billion appointments and drove over $350 billion of business value. The platform was successful in financial services, healthcare, and retail sectors, producing similar share-of-wallet increases.
At Engageware, Gary helped leading brands optimize engagement through all phases of the customer relationship. The company's intelligent Muti-channel engagement platform harnessed the power of artificial intelligence to improve interaction strategies through real-time customer insights and actions, producing better engagement resulting in faster growth.
Gary Ambrosino has an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BSEE from Cornell University, and a high school diploma from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Gary has also completed a one-year electrical engineering program at Penn State University and has a certification from the Federal Communications Commission in ham radio license WA3RBN. Additionally, they have a certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in private aircraft pilot and a certification from the American Alpine Club in wilderness/remote location first aid.
