Obaid Ather has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting from 2003, they worked as a MEDIA & CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER at APEX Communications until 2010. From 2011 to 2013, they served as an Account Executive at Orientm McCann Pakistan. Following that, they worked as a Marketing And Public Relations Manager at Pak Oasis Group from 2011 to 2015. Obaid then joined Gulf Oil as an Operations & Financial Service Manager from 2015 to 2017. From 2018 to 2021, they served as a Team Lead Manager at Progress Rail, A Caterpillar Company. Currently, they are working as a Digital Marketer at G&W Electric Co. where they have built a digital roadmap and strategic plan for business growth, directed content creation for global digital channels, and optimized web pages to improve SEO and usability, resulting in over 20% increase in traffic and conversions.

Obaid Ather completed a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Institute of Project Management in the year 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Preston between 2003 and 2006.
