Lauren Peck has a diverse work experience in the field of industrial design. Lauren currently works at GWA Group Limited as an Industrial Designer. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Design Development at People&Things, where they spearheaded the creation of innovative products across various industries. Lauren also worked as an Industrial Design Tutor at the University of Technology Sydney in both 2019 and 2020.
Before their role at People&Things, Lauren gained valuable experience working with AWM - Commercial Furniture & Joinery as an Industrial Designer. In this role, they managed junior designers and collaborated with different departments, including sales, marketing, and production. Prior to that, they were an Industrial Designer at ThinkingWorks, where they started as a junior designer and eventually managed a team of designers while supporting senior designers.
In addition to their design roles, Lauren has a background in retail management. Lauren worked at Cotton On Group as a Store Manager and Sales Assistant, where they were responsible for various tasks such as customer service, loss prevention, visual merchandising, and staff training.
Lauren's passion for industrial design began during their time as an Industrial Design student at the University of Technology, Sydney.
