Matthew Jones has a diverse work experience in various marketing and digital roles. Matthew started their career in 2006 as a Brand Manager at Nestlé Professional. Matthew then moved to Nestlé, where they worked as a Trade Marketing Manager, Senior Brand Manager, and eventually became the Marketing Manager for Asia, Oceania, and Africa region. In 2015, they joined Methven Ltd as the General Manager Marketing NZ, and later became the Group Chief Marketing Officer. Currently, they are working at GWA Group Limited, where they have served as the Brand Director for Methven and the Head of Digital Channels & NZ Marketing. In 2023, they assumed the position of Head of Digital & Owned Channels.
Matthew Jones completed their Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing from Auckland University of Technology, attending from 1997 to 2000. Following this, they pursued higher education and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, studying from 2003 to 2005.
