Lorena Veiga has a long and varied work experience. Lorena began in 2005 as an Academic Advisor and Assistant of the Theory of Computation Chair at Universidad ORT Uruguay. In 2006, they became an Assistant of the Administration Chair - Management Control Systems and Business Intelligence. In 2007, they became a Business Plan Professor, a Management Projects Teacher, a Mentor for MBA Candidates Business plans, a General Management Professor, and an Organizational Behavior Professor at Universidad ORT Uruguay. In 2010, they became a Strategic Planning Consultant at the National Customs Authority. In 2011, they were a Co-founder of xternum, a consulting firm, and an IDB Consultant - Process Reengineering for the International Trade Single Window. In 2012, they became the International Trade Single Window Project Manager at Investment and Export Promotion Agency - Uruguay XXI. In 2019, they became a Gerente de PMO y TI at Gómez Platero Arquitectos and a Business Development Manager at GeneXus Consulting.

Lorena Veiga has a diverse educational background. Lorena obtained a Master in Business Administration from Universidad ORT Uruguay in 2012, a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in 2012, and a Computer Engineer degree from Universidad ORT Uruguay in 2006. Additionally, they have obtained PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2012 and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2017.
