Andy Barrett Ceng Micheme

Andy Barrett CEng MIChemE has more than three decades of work experience in the chemical engineering industry. Andy started their career in 1989 as a Chemical Engineer at Ciba Geigy/FMC and worked there until 1995. Andy then joined Albion Chemicals in 1998 as a Production Manager. In 2005, they moved to SI Group as a Site and Production Manager, where they led a team of 50 and was responsible for ensuring safety, environmental, and quality compliance. Andy was also a member of the European Regional Leadership Team. Andy worked at SI Group until 2014, during which they took on the role of Director of Operations in Rotterdam Junction, New York. In this position, they led a team of over 160 and managed a $35 million operating budget. After leaving SI Group, Andy joined Valspar in 2015 as a Plant Manager before moving to H.B. Fuller in 2016. At H.B. Fuller, they held various positions including Plant Manager, NA Operations Director, and currently serves as the Regional Director of Operations.

Andy Barrett CEng MIChemE completed their education at the University of South Wales, where they earned a BSc Hons 2.1 degree in Chemical Engineering from 1982 to 1987. Prior to that, they attended Petersfield School from 1975 to 1982.
