Michelle Tannenbaum Forte has over 35 years of experience in various roles related to trade compliance and international trade law. Michelle is currently the Director of Global Trade Compliance at H.B. Fuller. Prior to that, they worked as an Executive Director of Indirect Tax Services at EY. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Head of Global Trade and Product Compliance at Amazon Web Services, where they established trade compliance programs and engaged with foreign authorities. Michelle also served as the VP Compliance at Charter Brokerage LLC from 2010 to 2017, providing guidance on customs clearance and regulatory compliance. Michelle has worked in senior positions at BASF, CIBA Specialty Chemicals Corp., and Ciba Geigy Corp., specializing in foreign trade compliance. Michelle began their career as a partner and associate at Ross and Hardies and worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Queens District Attorney's Office. Michelle also gained experience as a law clerk at the U.S. Court of International Trade.

Michelle Tannenbaum Forte completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Rhetoric and Communications from the University at Albany, SUNY from 1977 to 1981. Subsequently, they pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Emory University School of Law from 1981 to 1984.
