Michael Kuritzky

Managing Director at H.I.G. Capital

Michael is a Principal in H.I.G. Capital's San Francisco office, where he focuses on making investments in stable, growth-oriented companies for the Advantage Fund. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, transaction structuring, financing and post-closing governance.

With a decade of experience in private equity and M&A, Michael has served on the boards of a number of H.I.G. portfolio companies, and has made investments across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, consumer, and government / business services.

Prior to joining H.I.G., Michael worked for McKinsey and Company in New York, where he advised Fortune 500 healthcare, technology and industrial clients on a range of business issues at the intersection of strategy and corporate finance.

Michael holds a B.S. in Economics with High Distinction, magna cum laude, from Duke University and an M.B.A. with Honors from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
