Abdullahi Amoo

Abdullahi Amoo has extensive work experience in the business intelligence and data analysis field. Abdullahi began their career in 2014 at Pitney Bowes Inc. as a Business System Analyst, where they were involved in requirement gathering and analysis, creating functional requirement documentations, and technical specification documents. In 2016, they joined Stryker as a Power BI Developer, where they developed and implemented Power BI's reporting, analytics, and data visualization solutions. In 2019, they moved to Colaberry as a SQL Developer/Data Analyst, where they extracted data from different sources, transformed and loaded it to the staging, and worked on SQL Server development. Most recently, they have been working at H10 Capital as a Business Intelligence Developer, where they have developed intelligence-sharing dashboards, written and optimized SQL statements, designed and implemented scalable applications for data extraction and analysis, and assessed platform statistics to create customized, data-intensive BI analytics.

Abdullahi Amoo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos from 2007 to 2011. In 2020, they obtained a certification from Colaberry School of Data Science & Analytics. In 2021, they obtained a Tableau Desktop Specialist certification from Tableau and an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2022, they obtained a Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification from Salesforce, a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, a Data Analytics certification from Colaberry, an Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI certification from Microsoft, and a Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification from Microsoft. Abdullahi is currently enrolled in Western Governors University, where they are pursuing a Master of Science degree in Data Analytics.
