Karin Kane Bloom has been working in the professional world since 2000. In that year, they began their role as Forum Assistant at Harvard University's Institute of Politics. Karin then moved on to become the Administrator of Internships and Special Events, where they developed and organized 40 prestigious internships for Harvard College students. In 2005, they became an Independent Consultant for Bloom Advising, where they provided high school and college students with college search and application process, editing, summer internship advising, job search strategy, networking tips, and more. In 2008, they became the Manager of Employer Relations and Technology at Harvard Kennedy School, where they managed a graduate school's high-caliber career platform and launched a new event RSVP system. In 2021, they became the Founder and Co-Owner of Hoptown 01887, a business celebrating Wilmington, Mass (01887)'s historical nickname of "Hoptown" with merchandise representing the town. Most recently, in 2023, they began their role as Operations Manager for H2Ok Innovations, where they refine, creates, and launches impactful business processes such as HR/Recruiting, Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Marketing, Community Building, Timeline Management, and more.
Karin Kane Bloom attended Saint Anselm College from 2010 to 2018, where they received a B.A. in Politics, French and International Relations. Karin then continued their education at Harvard University from 2018 to 2019. In July 2019, they obtained a Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) certification from Harvard University. In December 2018, they obtained a Notary Public certification from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
