Maroun Bassam Maroun has had a diverse range of work experiences in the technology industry. Maroun is currently working as the Head of R&D at HAAT Delivery, where they drive innovation and shapes the future of the food delivery industry. Previously, Maroun worked as a Programmer at Zujaj, contributing to the creation of data-driven community activism through interactive technical tools. Before that, they held roles at proteanTecs, first as a DevOps Engineer, where they designed and developed infrastructure and enhanced system reliability, and then as a Senior Software Engineer, playing a key role in the development of a microservice-based cloud platform. Maroun also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Salt Security, leading the way with innovative API security solutions. Maroun gained experience in Linux-based development at Stratoscale, specifically working on the management stack of a hyper-converged infrastructure solution. Prior to this, Maroun was a Software Engineer at Taykey (Acquired by Innovid) and a Software Developer at SintecMedia. Their technical skills encompass a range of programming languages and technologies, including Java, Python, K8s, Docker, Redis, MySQL, RabbitMQ, and more.

Maroun Bassam Maroun pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from 2009 to 2013 at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
