Nicole Schafer serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the International Humanity Foundation since April 2017, overseeing the organization’s Education Centers and Children’s Homes while managing various functions such as Finance, Human Resources, and Fundraising. With deep expertise in program development and operational strategies, Nicole collaborates closely with the CEO to align organizational goals with strategic initiatives. Additionally, as the Director of Partnership Programs at Habitat for Humanity of Michigan since March 2010, Nicole cultivates social innovation initiatives and develops funding strategies to enhance community impact. Previous roles at Habitat for Humanity included Financial Coach, where Nicole established a Financial Coaching Network, and Grants Manager, focusing on impactful partnerships and community relations. Earlier experience includes working as a Credit Analyst and Loan Officer at MSU Federal Credit Union from November 2004 to March 2010. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University, earned between 2004 and 2009.
