Ian Braithwaite

Ian Braithwaite is the Co-Founder and CEO of Habitual, a company that they started in 2019 with the goal of helping people break bad habits. Prior to Habitual, Ian worked as the Medical Director at Counterweight from February to June 2019, and before that, they were a Strategy Consultant at Echo from August to August 2018. Ian also spent time as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at INSEAD during their Summer Start-Up Tour in July 2018.

Ian began their career in the medical field as a Clinical Fellow Emergency Medicine & ENT Surgery at Barts Health NHS Trust from September 2016 to November 2017. Ian then became a Senior House Officer Emergency Medicine & ENT Surgery at the same hospital from August 2015 to August 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Clinical Development Fellow Emergency Medicine & ENT Surgery at NHS Forth Valley from August 2013 to August 2015. Ian started their career as a Foundation Year 1 & 2 doctor at NHS Scotland from August 2013 to August 2015.

Ian Braithwaite has a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from The University of Edinburgh.
