Jamie Margolin

Jamie Margolin is a multifaceted leader and advocate for climate justice and youth activism. As the founder and director of Pelea Animation since August 2021, Jamie is dedicated to producing an animated short film. Since July 2017, Jamie has led Zero Hour, a movement empowering diverse youth voices in the climate dialogue. An accomplished author, Jamie published "YOUTH TO POWER: Your Voice and How To Use It" through Hachette Book Group in June 2020, serving as a guide for young activists. As a plaintiff in a significant climate lawsuit with Our Children's Trust since December 2016, Jamie actively communicates the importance of climate action in community presentations. Additionally, as a Climate Justice Ambassador for Plant-for-the-Planet, Jamie organizes local campaigns and advocates for legislative change. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies at New York University, Jamie's education complements a dedicated career in activism and storytelling.
