Bethel Sheferaw

Bethel Sheferaw is currently serving as a College Consultant at College Contact since December 2023. Previous experience includes an App Development Intern role at Mentall and participation in the Meta ABCS Program at Meta in early 2024. Bethel has been involved in various projects, notably participating in the largest underrepresented hackathon in the country with Technica, focusing on creating an application under the theme "Reaching Higher." Experience with Adera Construction involved managing budgets and finances, alongside website development. As Social Media Manager at Admas Studio Photography, Bethel increased customer engagement from 100 to 800 subscribers. Additional roles include teaching Java as an assistant at Elevate the Future, along with arts education internships at Summer Rise and Auntie Connie's Creative Corner. Bethel is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Science at the University of Maryland, alongside a Bachelor's in Operations Management and Business Analytics from the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
