May Hathaway is a research assistant at the Price Lab for Digital Humanities since September 2021 and serves as a Mellon Undergraduate Summer Research Fellow. In addition to this role, May is a teaching assistant for the CIS 3200: Introduction to Algorithms course and the head teaching assistant for NET 1500: Markets and Social Systems on the Internet at the University of Pennsylvania Engineering, with planned roles in both courses for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024. May has worked as a software developer at Hack4Impact since September 2021 and is currently a software engineering intern at LinkedIn. Previous technology internship experience includes a role at Nuveen, a TIAA company, from June 2023 to August 2023. May is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Cognitive Science at the University of Pennsylvania, alongside a minor in Consumer Psychology from The Wharton School, with expected graduation in May 2025. May graduated from Stuyvesant High School in June 2021.
