Jimmylee Velez has extensive experience in health information management, currently serving as the Director of Operations and Director of Health Information Management at Hackensack Meridian Health since November 2019. Previously, Jimmylee held the position of Health Information Manager at Virtua Health and served as Medical Records Supervisor at Kindred Healthcare. Notable achievements include training over 45 physicians on new dictation systems with a 99% adoption rate and coordinating the implementation of Electronic Medical Records. Jimmylee's early career included roles as a Medical Coder and various internships, providing a solid foundation in medical records management and coding compliance. Jimmylee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration from Temple University.
