MaryAnne Kowalski has over 30 years of experience in the behavioral health field. MaryAnne is currently the Chief Behavioral Health Officer at Hackley Community Care since November 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Behavioral Health Director at the same organization from January 2019 to November 2020.
MaryAnne also has their own private practice, Kowalski Counseling LLC, where they have been the President and Therapist since September 2013.
In addition, they worked as a Mental Health Therapist at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services from October 2016 to December 2019.
Earlier in their career, MaryAnne held various positions at Catholic Charities West Michigan, including Vice-President of Behavioral Health from August 2008 to December 2013.
MaryAnne also worked as a Clinical Therapist at Joan Kuric MD, Psychiatric Private Practice from October 1994 to April 2005.
MaryAnne's experience extends to South Bend, Indiana, where they worked as a Michiana Community Hospital therapist from October 1993 to June 1995.
MaryAnne also served as a Supervisor at Assertive Community Treatment from April 1991 to October 1993.
Before that, MaryAnne held the role of Executive Director at ARC/Muskegon from March 1988 to January 1991, and as a Supervisor at ARC/Muskegon from August 1987 to March 1989.
MaryAnne Kowalski pursued their education from 1983 to 1987 at Central Michigan University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. As part of their undergraduate education, MaryAnne triple-majored in Psychology, Sociology, and Communications. MaryAnne later continued their studies at Grand Valley State University from 1987 to 1991, earning a Masters Degree in Social Work.
