Justin Varilek has a diverse work experience. Justin started as a Legal and Press Aide at Human Rights Center Memorial in 2009 and later worked as a Business Reporter for The Moscow Times. Justin then became a Media Director at Azurie.com and a Translator for SCOOP Russia at International Media Support. In 2012, they joined Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology as a Communications Specialist, where they co-founded the Communications Department and performed various responsibilities such as developing strategies, hiring team members, creating messaging, writing articles and press releases, producing newsletters, and analyzing website and social media traffic. Justin also acted as the Director of Communications Department during their time at Skolkovo. After that, they worked as a PR Manager for North America at Acronis. In 2017, they became a Visiting Associate Professor at Innopolis University. Finally, in 2014, they founded HackPack.Press and currently serves as its CEO.
Justin Varilek attended Dartmouth College from 2007 to 2011, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Russian Studies.
