Senior Software Engineer at Hadrian

Brandon Castellanos has held a variety of roles in the software engineering field since 2012. In 2012, they were a Research Intern at UCLA, where they conducted electrical engineering research on tactile feedback systems for robotic surgery. In 2013, they were a Research Intern at the USC Signal and Analysis Interpretation Laboratory, where they developed a statistical and prosodic framework for describing and predicting interactions among autistic children, psychologists, and parents. In 2014, they were a Web Developer at the Society of Brandon'spanic Professional Engineers, where they redesigned the website and overhauled the backend service. In 2015, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Northrop Grumman, where they contributed to the software efforts of the unmanned aerial vehicle MQ-4C Triton for the United States Navy. In 2016, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Qualcomm, where they developed embedded RF software for the next generation of Snapdragon modems and optimized test equipment automation performance. In 2018, they began working at Boeing as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed software for classified programs with an active top secret security clearance, collaborated with subject matter experts to design and implement cloud-native microservice-oriented APIs, and built a mission-critical desktop client application to monitor, analyze, and control a satellite fleet. Brandon is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Hadrian.

Brandon Castellanos received their High School Diploma from North High School in 2013. Brandon then attended the University of Southern California, graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. In 2015, they obtained a National Instruments Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) certification from National Instruments.
