Derek Langner

Derek Langner has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in project management and blood bank operations. Since April 2012, Derek has held various roles at Haemonetics, including Account Executive for Software and Senior Manager of Project Management, where innovations in remote implementation during COVID were spearheaded. Prior positions included Manager of Project Management, where Derek focused on standardizing educational processes, and Project Manager, delivering successful implementations of SafeTrace Tx. Additionally, Derek is the owner/operator of J.D. Farms and Homestead since January 2023, producing vegetables, livestock, and luxury candles and soaps. Prior experience includes roles at Jackson Hospital, LabCorp, The University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Memorial Hospital and Manor, gaining valuable skills in blood management and laboratory operations. Derek holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology.
