Joe Seymour

Joe Seymour has an extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Joe is currently working as the Director of Software Engineering at Haemonetics. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of Software Engineering at Genalyte, Inc. Joe's most significant role was at Becton Dickinson, where they served as the Software Engineering Director & Principal Architect. Joe managed a team of over 100 enterprise software engineers, architects, data scientists, and DevOps engineers. Joe also has experience as a Manager of Software Engineering, Senior Principal Software Engineer/Lead, and Senior Software Engineer. Joe has worked on various projects and has expertise in areas such as UI development, project management, estimation, and continuous delivery. Before focusing on software engineering, Joe also gained experience in other industries, including construction and financial services.

Joe Seymour attended Western Governors University from 2021 to 2023, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cloud Computing. Prior to that, they attended ITT Technical Institute from 2001 to 2003, where they earned an Associates degree in Software Applications. In 1998 to 1999, Joe Seymour attended Loyola Marymount University, although they did not obtain a degree in Chemistry. Additionally, Joe Seymour has obtained multiple certifications from CompTIA, including CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA A+ ce Certification.
