Sunil Punia has 15 years of work experience in various roles. Sunil started their career as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Hindalco Industries Limited in 2005. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as an Area Sales Manager at Faber-Castell, where they focused on distributor and super stockist network handling, market share enhancement, and implementation of channel marketing activities. From 2010 to 2012, they served as an Area Sales Manager at HP, leading a team and managing the supply channel for consumer and commercial printers. Sunil then joined HCL Infosystems Ltd as a Regional Sales Manager from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they became a Regional Sales Manager at Panasonic Mobile Phones, where they successfully relaunched the brand in their region and significantly increased revenue. Sunil Punia joined Hafele India Private Limited in 2015 as a Regional Manager for the Appliances Business. Sunil later became the National Manager for the Lighting Business, where they were responsible for setting up the business, developing sales strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with dealers and distributors. Currently, they hold the position of Business Head for the Lighting Business at Hafele India Private Limited.
Sunil Punia completed their Grade School education at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1988 to 1999. Sunil then attended Naval Public School in Kochi from 1999 to 2001, where they completed their Higher Secondary education with a focus on Science. Sunil went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2005. Following that, they enrolled in SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) from 2007 to 2009 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing.
