Jas Bains

Jas joined Hafod in July 2017 from the Accord Group and brings substantial experience having worked in the Housing Association Sector in England for 15 years as Chief Executive overseeing the Group’s subsidiary companies across Birmingham, Coventry and Solihull.

He has a wide range of board experience having served on the boards of housing associations, Regional Development Agency, universities and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.

Jas has successfully led national award winning organisation transformation programmes and has a keen interest in enterprise and innovation. In 2011 he was awarded the MBE for ‘Outstanding services to housing and community cohesion’.

Jas describes himself as a world class accumulator of knowledge and information but with little use to man or beast. He is also a massive Wolves fan.
