Trond-Roger Johannessen has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Trond-Roger started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Oslo, where they worked as a Manager for seven years. Following that, they joined SpareBank 1 Gruppen AS as the Head of Group Accounting.
After gaining experience in the banking sector, Johannessen moved on to work at several investment and financial companies in different positions. Trond-Roger served as the CFO at Braganza, a privately held investment company, and later became a Director at Bramora Ltd, focusing on investments with a stable yield. Trond-Roger also held the role of Director at Braathens Aviation AB and its subsidiary, Sverigeflyg Leasing AB.
Johannessen then transitioned to the digital banking industry, serving as a Director at BRAbank, a digital bank specializing in credit card payment, consumer financing, and deposits. Trond-Roger later joined Spordrift AS, where they served as the CFO, responsible for the maintenance of railway infrastructure.
In 2022, Johannessen took on the role of Chief Financial Officer at Norsk Mineral AS, a privately held investment company with global operations. There, they were involved in major investments in various sectors, including high-purity quartz sand production, calc mining for the paper industry, real estate, and renewable power production.
Currently, Johannessen holds the position of Head of Ownership at Hafslund, where they manage a broad investment portfolio related to hydropower plants, district heating, and renewable power production.
Throughout their career, Johannessen has demonstrated their expertise in finance, accounting, and strategic decision-making, making significant contributions to the companies they have worked for.
Trond-Roger Johannessen began their education journey in 1994, pursuing a degree in Økonomi & Administrasjon, which they successfully completed in 1996. Trond-Roger then advanced their studies at Nord University from 1996 to 1998, earning a Master of Science in Business without specifying a field of study. Trond-Roger Johannessen further enhanced their academic qualifications by enrolling at BI Norwegian Business School in 2001, where they obtained a degree in Master in Public Accounting (HRS) focused on the field of Accountancy, completing it in 2002.
