Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith is an experienced petroleum landman currently employed at Haggard Land Company since February 2021 and Herv Oil since May 2018. Prior roles include positions at Patriot Energy Development, LLC, Greg Hall Oil and Gas, and Kenyon Energy LLC, where Matthew gained expertise in oil and gas contract facilitation, regulatory compliance, and lease acquisitions. Matthew's early career includes marketing and sales roles at the Oklahoma City Thunder and Corkscrew Liquors, as well as leadership experience at the Catholic Heart Work Camp and Arcadia Tree Farm. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma, completing studies from 2006 to 2010.
