Alexander Franzén

Alexander Franz has extensive experience in strategic sourcing and sustainability within McDonald's Corporation, currently serving as Director Global Strategic Sourcing & Sustainability since August 2015. Prior to this role, Alexander held various positions at McDonald's Europe Ltd. from 2009 to 2015, including Director Strategic Sourcing Food Europe and Director-Commercial Lead Europe. Alexander's career at McDonald's began in Germany, with significant roles including European Purchasing Director and Senior Department Head Purchasing and Logistics, where responsibilities spanned procurement strategies and supply chain management. Alexander holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and completed military service prior to pursuing higher education.
